About – Victory through Jesus Christ

Vision

There are three elements to the vision that God has given me for this ministry:

  1. Uplift the body of Christ
  2. Unity in Christ
  3. Teach identity in Christ

As you learn who you are in Jesus you will find that He begins a work in you, freeing you from the baggage you have accumulated in your life. You may experience a better marriage, better relationships with family, especially a better relationship with yourself. As God said through the prophet Jeremiah, 29:11 MEV – For I know the plans that I have for you, says the Lord, plans for peace and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Statement of Faith

Scripture

We believe the Bible in its entirety to be the inspired Word of God and the infallible rule of faith and conduct. 1

Godhead

We believe in one God, the Creator of all things, manifested in three Persons — God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. Jesus was crucified, buried, and resurrected from the dead. He ascended into heaven and is now seated at the right hand of God the Father as both true God and true Man. 2

Man/Fall/Redemption

We believe the human race is fallen from its original, created goodness because of the sin of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. We believe in the resurrection of the dead, the eternal happiness of the saved, and the eternal punishment of the lost. 3

New Birth

We believe salvation is by God’s grace alone through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. It is received by repentance and acceptance of Jesus Christ as personal Savior. We believe the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who comes to dwell in every believer at the moment of salvation. 4

Baptism

We believe water baptism by immersion in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit is an outward sign of an inward work and is commanded by God following conversion. 5

The baptism in the Holy Spirit is distinct from salvation, releasing the power of the Holy Spirit through faith. Consistent with biblical accounts, believers should anticipate Spirit-baptism to be accompanied by speaking in tongues and other biblical manifestations. The baptism in the Holy Spirit is given to endue the believer with power from God, to offer an inspired witness for Christ, to lead the believer in a life of holiness, and to equip for a Spirit-filled life of service. 6

Healing

We believe in sanctification through the Word of God and by the Holy Spirit. We believe in personal holiness and in purity of heart and life.

We believe in divine healing through faith in the Name of Jesus Christ and that healing is included in the redemption work of Jesus — crucified, buried, and raised from the dead. 7

Marriage and Sex

We believe that marriage is between one man and one woman and sanctified by God. We believe that God made only two sexes, man and woman. 8

God’s Call On Our Lives

We believe that the work assigned to Adam in the Garden is our work also, to be fruitful and multiply, and replenish the earth and subdue it (have dominion over it) and that the Blessing of Abraham is ours.

We believe that we are to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

We believe that every born-again-believer has the personal responsibility to growing in word and in knowledge in their walk with God, developing an intimate fellowship with the Trinity. 9

Jesus’ Second Coming

We believe in the Christian’s hope in the soon-coming, personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ.

We believe strongly in Jesus’ Great Commission to every Christian. 10
