Galatians 6:7-10 MEV
7 Be not deceived. God is not mocked. For whatever a man sows, that will he also reap.
8 For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.
9 And let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we shall reap, if we do not give up.
10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who are of the household of faith.
Verse 7 Because we have free will, God can’t be mocked because He is not the one who sows the seed. We sow the seed and reap a harvest in line with the seed sown.
Verse 8 If you’re walking with the world, then you are sowing according to the world and the world has been corrupted since the fall of Adam. If you’re walking with the Lord then you will sow according to the Lord, the incorruptible seed.
Verse 9 stand on the Word of God and sow the good things of the Lord, stay in the Word daily to strengthen yourself and rebuke doubt and unbelief and in the proper season you will reap your harvest.
Verse 10 God is no respecter of persons and He is our source. He will present us with every opportunity to sow His goodness to everyone without prejudice but especially to our brothers and sisters in Christ. We are a lousy witness if we can’t do good to the Body of Christ, if we can’t honor and respect the things of the Father.
