This is personal for each of us and we are all in different places with our intimacy with God. It made a good difference to me when I began to realize that God wasn’t some unknown being that I could never understand, but that He is God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. As I grow in Word and in understanding, I come to recognize that all I have to do to know Him is to get involved with the Word of God, Jesus, through the written word, the Bible. As I read the word, I learn about God in His different persons and I learn about His intentions for me, for all who believe, and for the world. There is a reason behind God wanting us to grow beyond “the milk” into “solid food,” and that is because we will get to know Him and His will for us.

28 God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and replenish the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the air and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
31 God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
